Baku-Tbilisi-Erzerum gas pipeline

The Baku-Tbilisi-Erzerum gas pipeline transported 2.679 BCM of gas in the first half of 2010 at an average rate of 14.8 MCM/day. BP-Azerbaijan says that capital investment expenditure on the pipeline amounted to $4.9 mn in the first half and that the plan for 2010 is to spend $12.7 mn. The pipeline has been carrying gas from the Shahdeniz field to Georgia since the end of 2006 and started delivering gas to Turkey in July 2007.
