Kawasaki disease is the leading cause of acquired cardiac disease in children (1). Although reporting is sporadic in the United States, it is estimated that 5,000 new cases will be diagnosed each year (2). Diagnosis is based on a constellation of symptoms. Herein, we present a case of a 12-year-old child recently diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. She presented with an episode of acute chest pain and was found at work-tip to have an intercostal artery aneurysm.
