摘要

The Gouy phase-shift effect on the generation Coherent anti-Stokes Raman Scattering(CARS)signals is numerically investigated in a tight-focusing condition.The total CARS signals from thepolystyrene sphere with different sizes were calculated under conditions with and without the Gouyphase shift.The far-field radiation patterns of the thin polystyrene slab with different inclinationangles relative to the beam propagation direction were also calculated.It is demonstrated in thisstudy that the phase mismatch induced by the Gouy phase shift of the pump and the Stokes beamshas a significant influence on the far-field CARS radiation pattern of a thin polystyrene slab parallelto the beam propagation axis. We also found that the Gouy phase shift causes severe distortion ofthe CARS image for a polystyrene bead surrounded by water.
