Structured Linear Design Methodology for Three-loop Lateral Missile Autopilot

摘要

A systematic methodology for linear design of lateral three-loop autopilot, particularly suitable for homing missiles has been proposed. A set of reasonably accurate formulae for evaluating control gains and performance measures have been derived in parametric forms for appreciating the effects of variation of important design parameters and for understanding the role of missile parameters in the autopilot design. This step by step algorithm for a typical design situation has been considered and illustrated with numerical examples.
