摘要

This paper presents a fast and simple method of determining the voltage profile of a power system. !1 provides fairly accurate results over wide range of operating conditions unless voltage limits are grossly violated. It takes slightly longertime for computation than conventional dc load flow method but is much faster than conventional ac load flow techniques. Hence the proposed algorithm can be used as a dependable on-line technique for the determination of voltage profile. To initiate thecomputational process the method requires information about phase angles of the bus voltages from a dc load flow program. The dc load flow study yields only active power flow through lines and phase angles of voltages of various nodes. But the proposedalgorithm determines bus voltage magnitudes also. This procedure has been applied on some standard systems and the results in respect of voltage magnitudes and the speed of computation are compared with conventional ac load flow solution techniques.
