I feel greatly honoured for the opportunity given by Dharwad Chapter of Indian Society of Soil Science in terms of 6th G.S. Shekhon Memorial Lecture. As a tribute to the great soul and my teacher, I have chosen to speak on the topic "Edaphic Stressesand Agricultural Sustainability in India".
