摘要

The West Open-Pit mine in Fushun, NE China is currently the largest open-pit coal mine in Asia. The mining activity in this mine has caused a large deformation on the southern slope of the mine. A large-scale landslide failure on the southern slope of the West Open-Pit mine was selected as a case study. The landslide features and deformation zones were determined by analysing the geologic setting and monitoring the deformation of the landslide. The Janbu and imbalanced thrust methods were adopted to analyse the stability of the representative E400 section. The sensitivity of the influential factors was analysed by using the orthogonal experiment method. The weight vector of various landslide evaluation factors, which was determined using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) model, was subjected to a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE) to analyse the global stability. The landslide was then divided into five deformation zones. The shear strength of a weak interlayer played a crucial role in landslide stability. The landslide was instability. The analysis provides important technical bases for the safety and sustainability of mining areas.
