摘要

In order to predict the time domain radiation sensitivity of automotive cable bundles rapidly, this paper combines the equivalent cable bundle method (ECBM) and the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method to solve the problem, and it can provide reference for the electromagnetic compatibility design of the vehicle. Firstly, the observed cable is divided in a separate group, and the rest of cables in the automotive cable bundles are making groups based on the common-mode characteristic impedance and termination loads of the automotive cable bundles, each group can be expressed by an equivalent cable. Secondly, calculate the location coordinates, termination loads and the per-unit of length parameter matrices L (inductance) and C (capacitance) of the equivalent automotive cable bundles model. Finally, we use FDTD method to obtain the simulation results of the time domain radiation sensitivity of automotive cable bundles. Numerical simulations performed on 12 core automotive cable bundles illustrate the efficiency and the advantages of this method. And the combination of the ECBM and FDTD method can be widely applied in the time domain radiation sensitivity analysis.
