摘要

This work presents a theoretical study concerning the influence of rotational speed on oil film temperature field of a multi-sector recess hydrostatic thrust bearing. The oil film temperature performance of a multi-sector recess hydrostatic thrust bearing under the conditions of different rotational speed is studied based on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and hydrostatic technology. A test rig is designed for testing the oil film temperature of the bearing so as to study the influence of rotational speed on bearing temperature performance. The simulation results qualitatively agree well with the experimental data, it indicates the oil film temperature increases gradually with rotational speed enhancing. The reliability of a hydrostatic thrust bearing with multi-sector recesses can be predicted through this method, and it can provide reasonable theoretical data for design, lubrication and thermal deformation computation of hydrostatic thrust bearing.
