Documenting these CME and CE numbers and identifying potentially deficient radiologists will be an operational requirement for radiology groups. Some radiology groups may lack the procedure volume to satisfy the CE requirements, especially for less common subspecialized studies such as PET/ CT. Given these increased CME and CE requirements, groups may be compelled to grant more CME time and greater CME stipends for their members.
