摘要

An efficient synthetic route was developed for the formation of monosulfonylated products in aqueous organized media at room temperature (303 + 1 K) in the presence of a surfactant (viz. CTAB) as catalyst. The method is operationally simple and more effective as compared to the methods reported in terms of the product yield as well as kinetics. CTAB and CPB catalyze the sulfonamide synthesis better than SDS and Triton X-100.
