摘要

Cullen corylifolium is an important medicinal plant that belongs to the family Fabaceae. Callus cultures were established from leaves and nodes of C. corylifolium on Murashige and Skoog medium and Cierna et al. (Z) medium supplemented with auxins (2 4-D and NAA) and cytokinins (6-BA and kinetin). The synthesis of daidzein and psoralen was more in leaf-derived callus grown on Z medium with 9.04 mu M 2,4-D and 9.30 mu M kinetin. Synthesis of psoralen and daidzein was detected and confirmed by thin layer chromatography, ~1H NMR, ~(13)C NMR, electron ionization mass spectra and high pressure liquid chromatography analyses. Callus cultures were treated with different micronutrients (manganese, iron and copper) to increase the content of daidzein and psoralen. Manganese enhanced the content of daidzein whereas copper enhanced the psoralen content.
