The Army Corps of Engineers completed repairs to two locks on the Ohio River well ahead of schedule, clearing queues of coal barge tows earlier than expected. The Army Corps reopened the main chamber of the Greenup locks and dam on February 22, less than a month alter its 240-ton miter gate failed January 27.
