Spaces of functions with bounded variation and Sobolev spaces without local unconditional structure

Sobolev spaces in L-1 type norms in several variables, spaces of functions with bounded variation in several variables and their counterparts for higher order derivatives have no local unconditional structure. Traces of functions in these spaces are studied. A general version of Peetre's type theorem on the non-existence of the right inverse for the trace is proved. [References: 41]
