To Save the World, Target Human Suffering - Not Global Warming

Sometimes, debate on an issue becomes so shrill that neither side can hear the other and both sides lose the forest for the trees. The debate over global warming is one of them, and President Obama's climate speech only served to deepen the divide. When something is this divisive, it helps to step back and look at the bigger picture. One of the few voices that does so on climate change is Bjom Lomborg in his 2007 book, Cool It: The Skeptical Environmentalist's Guide to Global Warming.
