One of the value-added services that United Central offers to its customer base is the services of its Product Specialists. Product Specialists promote and provide technical expertise on specific product lines that United Central distributes. One such individual within United Central is Harry Dushac. A graduate in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University, Harry brings 36 years of mining industry experience plus a vast knowledge of safety-related mining products to United Central's customers on a daily basis. After college, Harry secured a position as an electrical engineer in the operations department of Peabody Coal Company with stints in Ohio, Illinois and Western Kentucky. "I was responsible for the electrical maintenance of equipment, and especially new installations. This was my first exposure to the coal mining industry, and I took to it immediately," stated Harry.
