摘要

A proposal to limit greenhouse gas emissions from new and existing fossil-fuel-fired power plants has been delayed until September 30 to allow the Environmental Protection Agency more time to vet recommendations and analyze its impacts, including those on the jobs market, but the deadline for issuing final standards will remain May 26, 2012. ”All of our rules, especially economically significant ones, have regulatory impact analyses, they have cost, they have benefits [analyses],” EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said last week when asked whether the agency would review the economic impacts of its proposed rule for the power sector.
