Zephyr Technology Corporation unveiled OmniSense~(TM) Mobile, a development platform and application suite which enables remote vital sign monitoring on mobile smart phones. OmniSense Mobile works with Zephyr's professional series Bluetooth BioHarness~(TM) and consumer series HxM~(TM) chest straps to wirelessly deliver vital sign information to smart phones. Working with its partners, Zephyr's technology has the ability to automatically push this vital data to the internet, and when combined with GPS data collected by a mobile phone, offers authorized viewers unprecedented visibility into both the location and health status of remote individuals.
