摘要

Aluminum alloys have been used in many fields such as construction, electrical and electronics products, automobile, and industrial machinery. The methods utilized to join products in which aluminum alloys are used include mechanical fastening, welding, and brazing. Among these methods, brazing is an excellent assembly method for the bonding of aluminum components [1]. As a consequence this method has been applied to products such as radiators, condensers, and heat exchangers [2,3]. Although a sound joint can be obtained with traditional filler metal (Al-12Si), its brazing temperature is high due to its high melting point (577 ℃). The high brazing temperature can degrade the mechanical properties or cause localized melting in some brazed joints.
