摘要

Optical fibre sensors have been used to measure various physical, chemical, biochemical and bio-medical parameters [1-4]. Phase or intensity modulation is used as a mechanism by which information and to be measured is transmitted into the light guided within the fibre. In the present work, an intensity modulation technique responsible for sensing thermally stimulated discharge current (TSDC) is used. The depolarization causes mechanical displacement which, in turn, produces a direct intensity modulation.
