摘要

The effects of Heat4reatment on the mechanicalworkability of continuously cast Cu-9Ni-6Sn alloys have beeninvestigated and the following results were obtained. Themechanical workability of Cu-9Ni-6Sn alloys are stronglydependent on the temperature of heating. The surface cracks ofspecimen were not produced over the temperature of 650℃ butoccurred below 650℃. Sn-rich inclusion formed duringsolidification influenced the mechanical workability. EspeciallySn-rich inclusion at grain-boundary induced crack initiation. Overthe holding temperature of 650℃ , the grain boundary pore madeby removing inclusion initiated crack because the pores acted asdefect at the grain boundary. Below 650℃ , Sn-rich inclusionswere still remained at the grain boundary, therefore workabilityimproved due to reduction of defects at the grain boundary.
