NONLINEAR CONTACT PROBLEM WITH WEAR FOR WINKLER FOUNDATION (CONSTANT CONTACT AREA)

摘要

A contact problem with wear for the Winkler foundation was considered in case of the nonlinear dependence of the wear rate on the contact pressure. The contact area was assumed constant. The convergence method was used to prove the existence of a solution of the problem in the continuous space of functions. An approach to finding and description of some features of wear kinetics was discussed.
