The situation surrounding a new coal import facility at the Port of Jacksonville in Florida is becoming more interesting by the minute. Last September Keystone Coal announced plans to purchased water front property in Jacksonville as a site to construct a 6.0 million tons/year coal import facility. The Jacksonville Port Authority was very vocal in its opposition to the sale of the property to Keystone.
