Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma with neuroendocrine differentiation detected by Ga-68 DOTA-NOC PET/CT: a case report.

A 7-year-old girl with indolent left upper extremity edema had axillary, supraclavicular, right retrocaval, paravertebral, mesenteric, and right iliac adenopathy confirmed by ultrasound and CT. Selective axillary biopsy demonstrated epitheliomorphic malignancy with neuroendocrineeuroectoder-mic differentiation. Bone scintigraphy demonstrated several thoracic spin lesions. I-123 metaiodobenzylguanidine imaging was negative. Ga-68 DOTA-NOC PET/CT demonstrated multiple lesions in her axilla, thoracic spine, and retroperitoneum. Biopsy of a palpable nodule at her left forearm revealed alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma with neuroendocrine differentiation.
