摘要

The contribution of inelastic subbarrier impurity scattering of tunneling electrons to the nonresonant transmission of a quasi-one-dimensional tunneling junction with weak (low impurity concentrations) structural disorder at temperature T = 0 is determined. It is shown that this contribution leads to an increase in the tunneling transmission and conditions are determined for which this increase may be appreciable.
