Dynamic frequency of CD4~+CD25~+Foxp3~+ Treg cells in Psoriasis vulgaris

Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are a well-characterized subpopulation of T cells that exert immunosuppressiveeffects to control the immune response. Deficiency or dysfunction of Treg may predispose to autoimmune diseases . Psoriasis vulgaris (PV) is a physically and emotionally challenging dermatologicaldisorder. Awareness is increasing that PV is associated with other systemic autoimmune disorders . Recently compelling evidences suggest that PV is one of the most common immune-mediated autoinflammatory diseases under certain genetic predispositions and activated effector T cells (Teff) play an important role in the progression of PV .
