摘要

As a new subscriber, I am especially impressed with the helpfulness of the articles in JCN. Rushing's article, "Am I Going to Die, Aunt Deborah?" (Vol. 29, No. 2) is well done, appealing to the heart and to practice. I first heard about Kubler-Ross/stages of death/dying in nursing school in the late 1970s. I recall how the author had stated that she'd never heard people regret not building a bigger home or whatever (in contrast to regrets patients voiced about not spending more time with family, etc.). I've found the book Tear Soup helpful in processing grief. Available atAmazon.com, I regularly give it out to families who have lost a loved one.
