摘要

A macrostructure model of 2-D braided composite is developed. Fiber volume fraction and its upper limit are derived by this model. Effective stiffness of 2-D braided composite is obtained in a closed form by the analysis of elastic deformation energy in repeat-unit-cell (RUC) of braided composites.
