Blurred vision and dizziness

A 58 year-old man was admitted for blurred vision and dizziness, preceded by an influenza-like illness. There was no neck rigidity, and examination of motor power, sensation and fundoscopy were unremarkable. MRI brain was within normal limits, as were laboratory investigations including CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) studies.
