Letter to the editor re: 'Youssef's syndrome: should MRI be the first line investigation?'

We read with interest the recent article by Williarris et al.1 in which the clinical entity of Youssef s syndrome is discussed. A case is described of a 35-year-old female with a history of four previous caesarean sections who presented with recurrent infections. Cystoscopy raised the possibility of a vesicouterine fistula but following a negative cysto-gram a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan delineated the tract between the bladder and uterus. The operative management is described and is notable for an abdominal hysterectomy.
