摘要

Industrial application of gas chromatography-mass spec-trometry(GC-MS)analysis has grown in popularity since the advent of GC-MS instrumentation in the late 1970s.This powerful technique can be used to elucidate components of a complex mixture while offering the benefits of high-precision quantitative analysis.Techniques and instrumentation have become commonplace within many academic and industrial settings necessitating the introduction of GC-MS techniques within the undergraduate curriculum.
