Korea-Japan, JCRCO and UICC joint symposium on cancer and aging research: molecular epidemiological and translational studies

摘要

Thanks to the courtesy and support of Professor Hoff-ken, Editor-in-Chief, the 5th Joint Meeting of the Korean-Japanese Seoul Symposium of the Journal of Cancer Research and Clinical Oncology was held on 25-26 September 2002 at the Hoam Faculty House at Seoul National University. This symposium focused on two themes of interest. The first being cellular transformation, signal transduction, and the biological control of tumors, and the second on aging, the cell cycle, and apoptosis. Finally, a joint symposium with the UICC (International Union Against Cancer) was conducted with aim of translating basic science for society.
