Yazd Rolling Mill (Iran) to launch new EAF in April at earliest

A company representative says that installation of a 70-tonne EAF has been shifted from January to April 2012 because the company plans to replace its 25 MW transformer with a new 50 MW one. The steelmaking equipment will be ramped up to full capacity in four or six months after the EAF is put into operation.
