PEAMCoal extends takeover proposal for Macarthur Coal (Australia)

PEAMCoal's offer for purchase of 50.01% stake in Australia's Macarthur Coal has been extended to October 14 (initially it was valid until September 27). At the moment, the parties wait for China's Citic Group (one of the main shareholders of the company, holding a 17% stake) to approve the deal. For reference, Macarthur Coal is the key supplier of PCI coal to China.
