Brazil's Gerdau S.A. is conducting the operational tests of a 1.1 million tpy plate mill at Gerdau Acominas plant in Ouro Branco, Minas Gerais state, according to the company's quarterly report. The unit is scheduled for commissioning by UK's Primetals Technologies in July 2016.
