摘要

In this study, chemical oxidation methods are used to prepare functionalized biomass based activated carbon. And then, the measurements from comparing the electrochemical behavior of ammonia on functionalized biomass based activated carbon with that of biomass based activated carbon demonstrate that the functionalized modification of the biomass based activated carbon on the glassy carbon electrode could efficiently enhance the electrochemical signal. Moreover, the electrochemical measurements show that the modified electrode provide fast response to ammonia with a linear range from 1.1 x 10(-6) M to 1.1 x 10(-4) M. And the detection limit is 1.2x 10(-8) M.
