摘要

Results of a field experiment conducted during Kharif to evaluate field bio-efficacy of some newer molecules of insecticides revealed that need based foliar spraying of insecticides in the form of the combination products viz. (imidacloprid 40% plus ethiprole 40%) 80WG @ 125 g ha" 1 and (flubendamid 36% + fipronil 30%) 66WG @ 50g ha~(-1) or sole use of either of imidacloprid 200 SL @ 100 ml ha~(-1) or bifenthrin 10EC @ 500 ml ha~(-1) proved to be highly effective in reducing the incidence of some major insect pest species viz., Orseolia oryza (Wm.), Nephotettix spp; and Dicladispa armigera Oliver. These insecticides could be best alternative to monocrotophos 36WSC @ 1390 ml ha~(-1) for the rice insect pests management.
