Aerosol optical depth retrieved over land and water for the indoex campaing area from atsr-2 data

New algorithms are developed to retrieve the aerosol optical depth (AOD) over land and over water using Along Track Scanning Radiometer (ATSR-2) data obtained over the INDOEX Intensive Field Phase (IFP) area during February and March 1999.The new algorithms are extended with absorbing anthropogenic aerosols.
