A bearing-only tracking algorithm to locate a slow moving target-ship emitter source position from a missile with an on-line adaptive filter is presented. An Input Estimation (IE) algorithm is applied to radar signal identification, it develop a whole ballistics which include anti-radiation in its midcourse and assuming an active seeker tracking in its terminal course. An important result of this research is the algorithm for passive ranging, which can determine the trajectory of the dynamics of a slow moving target. The purpose of this research is to design an anti-chaff homing guidance system which can distinguish between ship and chaff, and to identify the true or false target in a computation algorithm. This research formulates the dynamic model of a missile-target relative positioning in the midcourse phase. Un-modeled target maneuvering input and possible modeling errors are a major concern in the passive ranging problem. Simulation results reveal that the combined scheme markedly improves the tracking accuracy and trajectory shaping capability as well.
