OCCASIONALLY the West of Scotland Drystone Wallers Association meet at our garden for training weekends. The deal is that we feed them and they rebuild sections of the dilapidated boundary wall. Each person also gets a pot of honey. Every year the Association builds a feature at Gardening Scotland, held over the first weekend in June at the Royal Highland Show site at Ingliston. When they were looking for ideas for 2012 I suggested that they build a wall with bee boles to celebrate the centenary of the Scottish Beekeepers Association.
