Time Domain Response Calculations of Fractance Device of order 1/2

摘要

In this paper, expressions for time-domain response of a fractance device of order 1/2 for different excitations are derived. Basics of fractional calculus and fractance device were discussed in detail. Later, time domain response is obtained using Laplace transform techniques. The expressions obtained are expressed in terms of fractional calculus operators. Numerical simulations were carried out in MATLAB environment.
