摘要

The objective of the present research study was to understand whatbenefits the use of audiobooks (both school-books and books ofvarious genres, recorded on digital media) could bring topreadolescents and adolescents with developmental dyslexia. Twogroups, each consisting of 20 adolescents, were compared. Theexperimental group used the audiobooks, while the control groupcontinued to use normal books. After 5 months of experimentaltraining, the experimental group showed a significant improvementin reading accuracy, with reduced unease and emotional-behaviouraldisorders, as well as an improvement in school performance and agreater motivation and involvement in school activities.
