The 2014th Experimental Biology annual congress brought together over 14,000 leading researchers and exhibitors from six sponsoring societies and multiple guest societies to discuss advances in research in the life science field, such as physiology, pathology, biochemistry, pharmacology and nutrition. The societies represented at the meeting include the American Association of Anatomists, the American Physiological Society, the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the American Society for Investigative Pathology, the American Society for Nutrition and the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.
