With the advent of new camcorder technology,it has been easier to capture elusive footage for your documentary in almost any circumstance.And as a member of the faculty at DeSales University,I teach that hands-on experience is the best way to learn the art of filmmaking.Our students in the TV/Film program have access to miniDV and HDV equipment the first week of their freshman year,rather than having to wait until they achieve upperclassman status.By learning the art of filmmaking early on,students can practice concepts in real-world situations with outstanding results.
