摘要

Interest has recently grown in the behavior of condensed phases at large negative pressures [1], which arise upon wave unloading of shock-compressed materials and can be accompanied by phase transitions and spall phenomena. The aim of this work is to analyze the stability of coexisting phases on the low-temperature continuation of the melting curve of a simple substance. The temperature To corresponds to the equilibrium between a crystal (S) and a liquid (L) at zero external pressure.
