ZF Expands Construction, Ag Transmission Range

The new Ergopower LII transmission is targeted toward dump trucks, while the Eccom 5.0 CVT is dedicated to high-performance ag equipment. The new Ergopower Lll is a hydro-dynamic powershift transmission that can accommodate engine inputs as high as 540 hp with 1844 Ib.ft. of torque, making it particularly suitable for dump-truck applications up to 50 tons. The transmission offers eight forward speeds and four reverse, and a wide gear ratio with equal ratio steps provides higher operating speeds at lower engine speeds, the company said.
