Liftboat Reaches New Depths: L/B Robert raises the bar on liftboat capabilities

As demand for U.S. liftboat services reach farther offshore into deeper parts of the Gulf of Mexico's Continental Shelf, liftboats are being built with longer legs to serve these deeper locations. In addition, new markets are being developed for these unique, three-legged vessels that require larger deck spaces to haul heavier and larger loads. To accommodate these heavier loads, the main crane needs to be more robust than in the past.
