Several analysts have raised their target price per share for Golar LNG above US$40. On July 19, Lazar Capital raised its target to US$45, following Moran Stanley, which earlier raised it to US$46. The pureplay recently announced during its Q1 earnings call on May 31 that it has seen significant improvements in charter rates. Management also sees the finaliza-tion of the time-charter agreement in connection with the West Java FSRU project. For the quarter, Golar reported charter rates of US$80,694 per day, compared to Q4 charter rates of US$74,206 per day.
