Trinidad may not be able to honor an agreement to supply Jamaica with LNG, Jamaica Gleaner reported. The news comes amid the discovery of some one tcf of natural gas in Trinidad recently. According to the Trinidad government, the recent discovery adds to the country's reserves but does not create a gas windfall. Because the country consumes about 1 tcf of gas per year, the recent gas find is just about one year's additional gas.
