Teekay acquires Maersk, shares rise

Teekay LNG Partners announced April 12 that it has has declared a cash distribution of $0,675 per unit for the quarter ended March 31 due to its successful acquisition of the Maersk LNG fleet. In October 2011, Teekay agreed to acquire the fleet as part of its joint venture with Japan's Marubeni Corporation.
